The quality of Zambelli products - long life and long term value.

All homes needs rain gutters, and often this important design aspect of a home is ignored  by designers and thus a great opportunity to individualizing your home is lost. Intelligent choice of a quality gutter system can be a very effective way to maximize the exterior design qualities of your home.

Copper Gutters
Copper gutters make a real statement as to how you think about your home and how you measure value. Copper is a living material that while it will gracefully age with the home, it still retain its complete structural integrity so that it may outlast many of the homes on which it is fitted. In Europe there are many homes that still have copper guttering systems that were first fitted hundreds of years ago.

While perhaps not for every home, the Zambelli Copper system can be a stylish addition to a more elegant  designed home's exterior. The concept is similar to the use of the polished timber trim and similar decoration you might insist on in your home's interior. It seems silly that interior timber trim can be used to lift and highlight a home's interior, while gutters are typically made of low quality metal or plastic and are often painted to hide the fact that the gutters are even there at all. What a wasted opportunity for the gifted designer.

Zambelli Copper gutters can change all that. If you look at expense homes around the world (for example, the quality homes in Austria or Germany, where our home company is based)  these are often exclusively fitted with copper gutters. Look at the shops at the base of Beaver Creek Ski Resort in the USA, all have copper gutters. look at home in Paris or New York, copper is always the first preference on quality homes built to last. Currently copper gutters are a rarity in Australia, and so you may never have seen the striking addition they make to a home. Something  about copper says that it is natural and beautiful and as a result it catches your eye. .

Why a Half round Gutter System
The half round design of the Zambelli gutter system is superior to other gutter styles on the market as it transports the maximum amount of water for the gutter size due to its greater carrying volume. It also ensures that no water  remains in the gutter over time as due to its shape a round gutter will always drain completely. Half round gutters are also stylish and add a point of difference to a home.

The Zambelli gutter system is undoubtedly the best designed and manufactured gutter system in the world. The design has been constantly refined since 1862 and now represents the best system on the market. This system which was designed in Europe and proven all over the world is now manufactured locally in Victoria in Australia

The system is designed to be quick and easy to fit and requires no riveting or use of silicon. It is the "Leggo" system of gutters

Copper Gutter Maintenance
There is no need to maintain copper gutters. Even if they show a little oxidation over time this does not effect the extremely long life expectancy of the material and can be controlled in any case if required. Copper guttering will never require painting and will never require cleaning.

Also due to the half round design there is nowhere for leaves to catch and therefore Zambelli gutters will stay cleaner longer and require less leave cleaning over time. In fact many people find there is no need to clean their gutters at all when using a Zambelli half round gutter

Cost
The great thing about copper gutters is that they will never rust or rot. Copper is a metal that forms a natural renewable corrosion barrier, and it has the all the natural strength of metal to stand up to the elements better than any other material. Copper gutters may be more expensive initially but if you intend to build your home to last and if you or children will still be in the home in 10, 20 or 50 years then copper becomes a very smart investment. Once in place it will never need replacing.  Think also of the added value to your house on a resale basis and you will see that that as with many decisions made on the basis of quality, the long term benefits are far out weigh the initial slightly higher cost.

In any case due the design qualities of our system, installation costs are lower than with a conventional gutter and so there are some saving on installation costs in any case.
